Al Fresco Dining. Now with 20% off and price-match guarantee

We think one of the best things about holidays is eating outdoors, there’s nothing quite like an al fresco meal. But in the Northwest, the weather isn’t always on our side when we plan outdoor dinners, BBQs or garden parties. A Portico can make your outdoor living weatherproof to even the heaviest British downpour.

What is a Portico?

By definition, a Portico is simply a roof supported by columns, but a Crystal Living Portico is much more than just a shelter. It creates a new lifestyle, one where you can spend more and more quality time with family and friends outside in the garden, no matter what the weather. By protecting you from the elements, it means you can have garden parties all year round, whether the sun’s out or not. Porticos are flexible; they can be attached to your property or work as a standalone feature in the garden.

We have just had all the windows changed in the whole house. All the guys worked very hard and were very helpful. It looks great and they even did a good job of tidying up.

Portico Uses

A Portico creates a truly social space to enjoy. You could choose to have a large dining table and chairs beneath it to enjoy large al fresco family dinners at weekends. You can use it to shelter your BBQ and head chef in case of any unexpected showers. Or, you could even create a bespoke outdoor kitchen to really make the most of cooking outside.

Benefits of a Portico

A Portico creates the opportunity to enjoy your garden more. There’s nothing quite like being outside for fireworks or Halloween parties. You can add extra features to keep you comfortable when the evenings begin to get darker and chillier. Add heating to stay snug and lighting to allow your garden celebrations to last late into the night, who knows, perhaps you could have an outdoor Christmas this year?

Planning Permission

We have over 25 years’ experience in creating bespoke spaces so we know all about planning permission and what you do and don’t need. Most single storey structures don’t require planning permission, but if your project does, we’ll talk you through all the details and even arrange planning applications for you.

Our designs will adhere to all the regulations set for constructing buildings so you can be certain that your new garden room is both legal and safe. As soon as we have the go ahead, and we start the work, our team will make sure that all health and safety regulations are followed too, so that you, your family and anyone else who is around at home during the project build is safe.
